The Northamptonshire Record Office, situated at Wootton Hall Park in Northampton, holds over 800 years of the county's diverse and rich archival history.  Its collections span every aspect of life in Northamptonshire, tracing the county's story from the 12th century to the present day.

Operated by West Northamptonshire Council in partnership with North Northamptonshire Council, the service is Archive Service Accredited and free to use.  To make the most of your visit, it is recommended to order documents in advance.  A maximum of six pre-ordered items may be consulted at one time.  For opening hours and detailed guidance on planning your visit, please refer to the archive service website.
